Thoughts From Me (the Author!)

As a mom, writing a miscarriage wasn't part of the original plan. I anticipated that it would be too triggering, and generally something I wouldn't want to include. I mean, I don't even like to read about child loss in any form. But as the story evolved, it came naturally.

Pregnancy is risky business. It's easy to ignore that reality, especially when you're young and starting a family feels like some ambiguous, distant future. Most moms can attest to pregnancy's risks to your physical and mental health, not to mention the unfortunately all-too-common experience of pregnancy loss. I hate to say that it's a part of life (and fertility), but it is, and there isn't all that much we can do about it.

Ally's experience mirrors that of so many women, and it's made even more complicated by her breakup with Joe. It's one of the saddest parts of her story, and though I didn't initially envision it, I can no longer imagine Ally without it.

Was Joe only invited to the wedding to be framed for Allys murder? seems like we should put both Joe and Lisa in that bucket.

Question now is who was in on this plan and who wasn't

Great point! It could have been to frame either Lisa or Joe. A basic investigation would uncover both of their motives

Absolutely the blonde employee with Katie is Ally. And I agree they’re scheming to try to get the life insurance money to help Ally’s mom and maybe a fresh start for themselves?

Yes yes this!! But was Jack in on it? Hence the lack of concern with going back to his room with Lisa…

I agree! I think the other mystery woman with Katie is Ally. I predict ally’s “death” and the life insurance policy was schemed up to help benefit her mom. I am curious as to why they didn’t try to frame Lisa for the murder. She was obviously not welcomed at the wedding by the grooms side of the family, given her relationship with Jack. Was it to provide Ally with a safety net and cause confusion within the investigation - two people at the wedding with - complicated history? I don’t think Lisa and Stella are in on what’s happening, but Ronnie definitely is.

I have a lot of questions. Why is Katie hiding in disguise? Do the other girls know? Who hit Joe ? I wasn’t shocked at miscarriage because I figured Ally either had one or an abortion with no mention of a child or pregnancy. Joe would have heard. Wondering if Ally is alive. Is she the one that hit Joe? Is Ally in disguise? It doesn’t seem like Jack and Ally were in love. Was the marriage to placate the grandfather? Was Ally being paid to do it and simultaneously raise money for the medical care of her mom?

I predict the mystery person is Ally in disguise. Joe doesn’t recognize the blonde as red headed Ally. She also hit…

Agreed Ally probably was the one to knock Joe out. Interesting thought that the Grandfather might be behind all this.
